Good News Text is a service owned by Good News Text (International) Pty Ltd, Louis T. Good News Text Ltd (All companies are fully owned and operated by dedicated Christians of mixed denominations) hereinafter in this Terms of Service agreement, referred to as GNT.
The GNT Service is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your subscription and use of the GNT service constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices. The GNT service is provided to you at a set charge from us. Other charges may apply, your mobile phone service provider may charge service fees for text messaging (including receiving/sending messages), web browsing and other services that require the use of airtime and wireless data services. We recommend that you check with your mobile phone service provider to verify the fees that may apply to your mobile phone account/plan. GNT does not endorse or recommend the services of any mobile phone service provider. The mobile phone service provider is solely responsible for the services it provides to you, and you are responsible for the agreement you have with your provider. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for fees that your mobile phone service provider may charge you.

By subscribing to GNT, you will receive SMS text messages from us dependent upon the service selected by you. GNT text messages that you receive on your mobile phone may be delayed during transmission for any technical reason. Most Mobile phones are capable of receiving 160 characters in a text message, some only 150 characters. Each GNT message is expected to be within the 150 character limit so that no extra charges are charged by your service provider. Each message is derived from the Contemporary English, Good News, King James and Modern King James Versions and Translations of the Bible, and messages include the verse location for further reference. The accuracy and timeliness of any GNT message is not guaranteed or warranted by GNT. GNT does not intend the text messages to be advice for any person for a legal, personal, or health related issue. You should seek the advice from a professional if you need any form of assistance. Paul the Apostle encourages all Christians to "receive the word with all readiness of mind, and to search and meditate the scriptures daily, to make sure what we have received is scriptural and meaningful to us." Please read Acts 17:11.
Not all GNT Mobile services require subscription. For those services that do, you are required to send a text message to that effect to various 'shortcode' numbers in your country. You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account, including the forwarding of SMS messages to any third parties. GNT will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of using the service. GNT reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as GNT deems necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
GNT reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the GNT services are offered. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions. Your continued use of the GNT services constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
GNT specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the content and communication services offered through the GNT service. THE INFORMATION AND SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE GNT SERVICES MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. INFORMATION RECEIVED THROUGH THE GNT SERVICE SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR PERSONAL, MEDICAL, LEGAL OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS AND YOU SHOULD CONSULT AN APPROPRIATE PROFESSIONAL FOR SPECIFIC ADVICE TAILORED TO YOUR SITUATION.
GNT MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN THE GNT SERVICES FOR ANY PURPOSE. ALL SUCH INFORMATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AT YOUR OWN RISK. GNT HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO THIS INFORMATION.
YOU SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT GNT SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, ANY MATERIAL OR DATA SENT OR RECEIVED OR NOT SENT OR RECEIVED, OR ANY TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH AN SMS SITE/SERVICE. YOU SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT GNT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY THREATENING, DEFAMATORY, OBSCENE, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONTENT OR CONDUCT OF ANY OTHER PARTY OR ANY INFRINGEMENT OF ANOTHER'S RIGHTS, INCLUDING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS. YOU SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT GNT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONTENT SENT USING AND/OR INCLUDED IN AN GNT SITE/SERVICE BY ANY THIRD PARTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL GNT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF LIFE, INJURIES, DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE GNT SERVICES, WITH THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE GNT SERVICES OR RELATED SERVICES, THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICES, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE GNT SERVICES, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE GNT SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF GNT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF THE GNT SERVICES, OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING THE GNT SERVICES.
GNT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your subscription and access to any or all GNT services at any time, without notice. GNT shall have no obligation to maintain any content or to forward any unread, unsent or past messages to you. Unsubscribing/Service Cancellation
You may unsubscribe to the GNT services at any time by texting STOP to your countries advertised "Short Code". Your un-subscription request will be processed automatically by the system.
